Midwest College Showcase - Rules and Regulations

I FIFA Laws


The tournament will be played in accordance with FIFA Laws of the game except as modified by the rules below.

II Tournament Roster & Registration

A 18 Player Roster, identified at Registration
B Teams may have Four Guest Players
C No Player may play for more than one team during the tournament.

III Game Management

A Game play with a size 5 Adidas game ball, provided by MWCS
B Duration of matches, U15-19: 70minutes with 5 minute halftime
C Substitutions- Free Substitutions with permission of Referee.
Note: Both teams may sub, during play stoppage except corner kicks.
D Designated home team must change jersey when opposing team has
a color conflict. Home team will start the match with a kick-off.
E Teams with less than 7 players at game time will forfeit.
F All players must wear shinguards
G Players with casts, splints must be covered.
Note: It is the Referee discretion to allow players with cast, splints to play.
H Red Cards: All players/coaches receiving a Red Card must sit out the
following match of the showcase. Player/coach must leave the pitch
immediately upon receiving a Red Card. Cards do not carry over to other events.
I There will be No protests, all decisions made by the Referee are final.
J The showcase committee reserves the right to change the schedule

Do to Inclement Weather or Team Forfeits.
Inclement Weather-If a match is called after halftime, the score shall stand.
The Showcase Committee reserves the right to relocate or reduce a match.
No Refunds will be granted to teams resulting in canellation of the Midwest College Showcase in the event of inclement weather.

IV Winner Selection

A Tie Breakers

1 Most Wins
2 Head to Head
3 Goal Differential (Max 4 per game)
4 Goals Scored (Max 5 per game)
5 Goals Allowed
6 Shut Outs
7 Penalty Kicks

B Finals/Semi's - Overtime is 1 10 minute golden goal/followed by penalties
